First of all download any app like Google Pay, Phone Pay or any UPI app. After this open the app. Go to Add Bank Account option and select your bank. After this a message will be sent to the mobile number linked to your bank account.

How to start UPI service with the help of Aadhaar
- Step 1: Go to the UPI app and select the option to set a new UPI PIN.
- Step 2: Select the option of Aadhaar based verification.
- Step 3: Proceed by giving consent.
- Step 4: Validate the last 6 digits of your Aadhaar.
- Step 5: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number
- Step 6: Proceed by giving consent again.
- Step 7: After confirmation from the bank, you can set a new UPI PIN.

According to the NPCI website, customer consent is required to extract and validate Aadhaar information. Whenever you create UPI PIN. You have to give consent every time. The customer will be able to set up UPI only with Aadhaar. Only one mobile number will be registered in Aadhaar and bank.
