Electric vehicle startup company Strom Motors has started booking for its new flagship product, the Strom R3. The Strom R3 is an all electric personal mobility vehicle. The company will produce it in limited numbers in which you will get a car with two seats and three wheels. The company has so far registered bookings for around 165 units of this car worth Rs 7.5 crore. This car will be launched in the market soon, according to media reports, its price can be Rs 4.5 lakh.
To book this car, customers will have to pay only Rs 10,000. Delivery will first start from Mumbai and Delhi NCR. Bookings will be kept open for the next few weeks, where customers can avail upgrades up to Rs 50,000, which include color options, premium audio system and three years of free maintenance.
Strom Motors started it in 2016 which is Made in India. The Made for India electric car has been designed for three segments, which include Gym Working Professionals, Fleet Honors and Families. This car will prove to be beneficial for those who want to travel within the city and whose distance is 10 km.
In terms of features, the car gets 12-way adjustable driving seat, 4.3K digital instrument console, climate control, remote keyless entry, 7-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system, IOT enabled monitoring system, 4G connectivity, voice control. Huh.
Battery
The Strom R3 is ARAI certified and the company has filed a patent for its vehicle control unit. The vehicle uses a 48V battery system that comes with a warranty of 5 to 10 years. At the same time, it also has the facility of UPS storage and emergency backup. Along with this, a fast charger will also be provided, with the help of which the battery of this car will be charged up to 80 percent in just 2 hours. It will take around 3 hours for this car to be fully charged. The company claims that the Strom R3 offers a driving range of up to 200 km on a single charge. The cost of driving this car is only 40 paise per kilometer.
The Strom R3 has a drive range of 200 km. In this, you get a 4G connected diagnostic engine onboard, with the help of which location can be tracked and charge status can be seen. Plus you’ll get a health report about the vehicle’s brake pads, motor, and electronics. The delivery of this vehicle is starting from the year 2022.
